I have an older Thinkpad 600 model 2645-41u that I bought used with no
manuals or disks.

I need a restore disc that has the laptop specific files on it, (that restores all the Thinkpad files such as Diskette Factory, Thinkpad modem, Ring Central and ThinkPad configurations such as Fuel, IBM Connector, personalization editor, and ThinkPad 600 User's Guide).

It has to be for the "600," not the "600E." (someone that seemed to know told me this)

where can I find them?

I greatly appreciate any help or files

Have you tried IBM's web sight, a lot of times computer manufacturers keep archives of boot disks..

You are right about IBM having a lot of these files online, I have tried going thru that site, and I am sure what I am looking for is there, but under my kind of laptop there are a lot of files listed for download, I guess it will just take some time for me to figure it out

thanks

Found the package for win95:

http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site...id=BBOD-3N5KWE

Also found a "driver matrix" for the 600:

http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site...id=DSHY-3TLQ2L

From personal experience, IBM's site is not the easiest to find things

Hope this helps
