Hello DoG

Thank you for your test efforts and feedback thus far. The Release Candidate (RC) Service Pack 4 build is now available to download. The build version is 4.068. Please install, test and submit bug reports as soon as possible. Your continued efforts are helping us ensure that we ship a solid SP4 build in the near future.

Please note that the standalone, integrated, and customer support diagnostics ISO Images will be available to download in the week of April 28th, 2003.

IMPORTANT:

Before you install RC build 4.068, please read the updated release notes. Select ?Documentation? from the left-hand side menu on BetaPlace, http://www.betaplace.com, and go to the ?Post-RC Release Notes? section. On the ?Documentation? page you will find that only the release notes have been updated. The rest of the documentation listed has not been modified.

To download build 4.068 please go to BetaPlace: http://www.betaplace.com. Sign in using your .NET Passport account.

If you haven't associated your beta ID with your passport account please follow these steps:

- Select the "Sign In" button

- Log on using your .NET Passport Account and password. (If you do not have one you can obtain one from the main login screen)

- Choose the "I have been issued a Beta ID and password by Microsoft to associate with my .NET Passport." Selection

- Enter your betaID: ****** and Password: ************** (please note: your password is case sensitive).

- Click "OK"

The association is now complete and you are logged into www.betaplace.com.

Microsoft private newsgroups will be available for technical support. Private newsgroups are accessed from a dedicated news server and require a User ID and Password before giving you access. You can access the newsgroups in two ways. You can use WebNews as your newsreader which is a HTML based newsgroup at http://webnews.microsoft.com. Or you can configure your newsreader program. More detailed information about accessing the newsgroups is available at www.betaplace.com.

If you need assistance, please send email w2kspadm@microsoft.com.

Thank you.
