Thanks for ure replies guys..i havent heard of Lite-on..and i am not sure it is available in India..so i have a plan to buy a Sony 16X DVD ROM..is that drive ok?

thanks KingCobra for deleteing the other thread..i first posted in the Software Support Forum which i realised only later..then i posted it agian in the Hardware..didnt know how to delete.
