Product activation

I know with the product activation on win 2003, that it will "call home" (for the activation stuff), but does anyone know if it attempts to call home in normal run time?

Hi,

I'm running the latest "free" version of ZoneAlarm on W2K3 Enterprise Server and it hasn't detected any attempts to call home in the last 2 days. I'll sound the alarm if anything unusual pops up.

I tried installing ZA 3 and win '03 wouldn't let the vsdatant.sys (think that is what it was) load. Said that it might make windows crash so it won't let it load.

The freebie ZA installed without problems here, and is running fine.
