I am in Western Canada and we had Rogers for years....one word describes that company: JERKS.

Shaw took over here, upgraded the entire network and it was much better. But the are signing people up by the thousands, so I am sure that things will return to normal on the Shaw Network quite soon lol.

However, I dont like the way any cable company does business, so I went to satellite and ADSL. Best move I ever made

It would be great...the only satellite co in Canada that does that is Expressvu...and its only downloading off the satellite...you still have to have an ISP to send out the upload requests lol

Oh well...maybe one day

As soon as two-way satellite connections are more widespread.

Wow....I agree on that one.
Shaw is a JERK.i HAD THEM FOR 2-3 MO,
THEY SUSPENDED MY MODEM FOR 7 DAYS
because of "too much downloads"
I went a little farther and I called them
and told them I wnat someone out here to pick up the modem ASAP. I have ADSL no problem.

ADSL may be a bit slower...

But the security is far better, and stability is outstanding.
