I slipstreamed my office with SP1 and SP2.

Now, when I try to start Outlook, it gives me the following errors:

1. This application has failed to start because MAPIR.DLL was not fount. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
2. Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook.

I have re-installed Outlook as suggested, but I still get the same message.

PLEASE HELP, I don't want to lose my emails.

Thanks.

Sorry, it didn't work.

Get the following error message now:

1. The procedure entry point DDCS_Uninit@4 could not be located in dynamic link library MSMAPI32.dll

I replaced the MSMAPI32.dll file with the one on the CD, but no luck. Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Stringent is an unknown quantity at this point
Maybe because you slipstreamed wrong, and it corrupted the fimes? All you do to keep the emails is to keep the outlook.pst file somewhere and then import it. Ask a mate who has Office XP for thise files and get him to send them to you, and see what happens.
