I have installed 7.0 and when I tried to run the 7.0.1 update it says it cant find 7.0. Why????

Is it a *legal* version? I had this problem till I used my retail CD.

Or it can be from installing in a folder other than the default one -> Program Files\Adobe... yada yada yada

Nope I installed in the default folder but I might try putting it in a different folder

Hey James55,

I read up somewhere that the update looks for a pirated key that they blacklisted within the install... It will produce that error (where it cannot find Photoshop to install the patch). If you have a retail copy, then there shouldn't be any problem... If it is pirated copy, there are probably keygens floating around h34r:" class="inlineimg" />
