I created a new directory for the website I am hosting, the default.asp page shows up fine, and a few links... but I can't seem to make them all work...even the files are there, I get
The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

Please try the following:

Open the 192.168.1.3 home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

Click Search to look for information on the Internet.
You can also see a list of related sites.

I am testing an asp portal on the windows server... what could be the problem?

It's usualy a problem with the security. Does yous you IIS logfile for the site mention anything usefull?

Try C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1, that's the folder that holds the logfiles for the first IIS site. There might be an other folder in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles folder.
