I just want to ask if it's possible to clone a drive with a different size on destination drive without affecting the drive size. because i want to copy my 17GB drive with drive image or norton ghost but my destination drive is 20GB. would it affect the performance of my drive?
please suggest what's the best software to use for drive copy.

Please Advise!

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Have a look at Drive Image. Have also used Ghost to move old disk to a new one. I guess that any space in excess can be added to your copied disk with a program like Partition Magic.

Ghost and DriveImage copy only the used space of your present system, it will not decrease the performance of your new drive, there will be no space wasted .....

I have been using DriveImage 5.0 with good results..... nice simple interface, too. Yes, it will ask if you want to expand your partition to fit available drive space when you restore or transfer the image... very flexible.
