Devastated

I'm moving home so have got to give up my Blueyonder 2mb service to go to ADSL

Can any ADSL users give me some advice on ISP to move to?

Is it possible to get a relaible ADSL 1mb for £35 or less? I can't find one.

I am gutted !

Haha I doubt it mate. Should have moved to a Telewest area!

To be honest I would go with BT as they have the monopoly still over ADSL, and most ISPs have to go through them anyway. I know our company uses Demon, but it was a BT engineer who came to set the thing up!

The thing was when I did the post code search on their website it says they do offer the full Blueyonder services.

When I phoned them up they said that they only did half the road so i've reported Telewest to the Trading Standards Dept at my local County Council.

BT are ok but they don't offer the pop services as part of the package. I suppose I could sign up with one of these free ISP's to get mail.

I've heard all sorts of bad things about these USB modems they use for ADSL as well.

I'll give you advise on any dutch provider, but you'll need to exchange your £'s to ?'s first.

Zen's 1mb service is £100 but I hear that Bulldog do a half time 1mb service for £35.00

Does anyone know anything about Tiscali. Pop services, fixed IP and 100mgb of webspace. I also like the idea that they have a 2nd line ADSL support technician available to answer queries on the ADSL forum but i'm wondering what they are like as an ISP? I suppose they all use the BT infrastructure and in terms of cost they are cheaper than Zen.

It was all much easier with cable !!!!!
