How many ports do you actually need for Passive Mode?

poolman is an unknown quantity at this point

We kinda wanted to stay away from port 21 because @home knows that is a "common" ftp port. so we went a lttle higher, well alot high I guess to also eliminate "some" fo the port scanners.I just want to narrow it down as far as possible that all.
