Cloned Hd Won't Let Me Run Xpsp1

Just got a new WD120GIG HD w/ 8Meg cache. Cloned my older WD120 2Meg to it but XPSP1 won't start. Instead an error message pops up. I believe since I've upgraded this system many times, new cpu,vid card, etc. that the infamous "count" has been reached and the piracy thing is kicking in. I have a VLK right now and was wondering what I have to "tweak" in the registery to allow the system to accept the new HD. I remenber there was many articles posted in the beginning of how to overcome the 4-6 changed system items lock out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

No problem, all you have to do is call up M$ and explain that your system needs to be reactivated because of your hardware change. They will be happy to give you a new activation code.
