Yahoo Email Problem Solved

PROBLEM:

I recently started having a problem with my Yahoo email account when I used the address book. I'd select people from the list to add to the TO: CC: or BCC: of a letter and everyone selected would not be added.

ANSWER:

I had people in my address book with the symbol "&" in the first name field. I had never had a problem in the past, but they changed something and would not allow it work anymore. Yahoo fails to tell you what is wrong, just that there is a problem. Of course because it had always worked in the past, it took me a little while to figure out the problem. I have edited the names and removed the "&" symbol so everything is fine now. I only hope with this posting to save someone else the time I wasted.

I personally said Yahoo mail editor sux. My sister had to type every single email address manually to forward an email and I couldn't find a button to add them from the Address Book instead.

Well I don't want to use the MSN messenger, I think Microsoft already has too much access to my system. I use Yahoo instant messenger and using their email allows me instant alert of new emails. Many of my friends and my brother in the military use the FREE realtime voice chat with Yahoo messenger. Yahoo is not the best I'm sure, just personal choice.
