Crowdirt thanks for the response.
If I understand correctly???? I would be better off running internal as dynamic until the external side settles down. As long as the DNS #'s on external side keep changing I will have to keep changing them on the Internal Static IP as well? (Reason I don't want to run this machine dynamic is it seems like more processes run when dynamic then stastic and this is where I run DMZ host). If I misunderstood let me know if not

THANKS
HotRod

Hi Folks, just a bit of an update....my ISP managed to change the Server IP# again...they do that once in awhile. The updated number is on Page 6 of the Thread as before.....

Lately I have been experimenting with "VPN Servers". Once I get better at the process I am thinking of running a Server that way for awhile, to see how it goes. The only "Client" side software that would be needed is a WinXP install. No messing around with FTP Client Proggies like FlashFXP etc. is needed....

Hi zetzero, well the situation is this, all Servers are limited in some way to what they can handle. A given machine on a 'Net connection has only a certain amount of "Bandwidth" available. My server has been operational for some time now and during that time some folks have gone and others have been added as it seemed appropriate.

My plan will be to build a VPN Server in the next while, the present configuration works well, but it would be interesting to try something new....Stay Tuned...
