DivX on PS2

Was browsing the web for DiX to TV solutions, and came across this site :

If you have a PS2 Ethernet adapter, you can hook your PS2 up to a PC, and play all sorts
of multimedia files, including DivX on your TV.

Anyone here who has tried it, and can share some thought's if it's worth the $49.95 ?

Any thing out there for xbox divx?

It's my understanding that there are DVD players on the market now that can play DivX as well. May be worth a try.
