I mean, if you only have the limited use of ClickNrun (you know the Free one that only has 10 or so things to download) can you use this Cdrom? or is it just sucking space on my harddrive?

Gonna drop the new lindows on a second pc in a day or 2 and wondered if this was usable

lindows is debian linux then you have apt-get
Try
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install synaptic
run synaptic (gui for apt-get)

You dont need click&run.
You have apt-get (debian distro click&run).

for ex.
apt-get install quake2
(and apt-get will read quake2 from cd or from internet)
