How do I connect a sound-stream to a gif-picture? published in cyberspace...in a hotmail-mail?
I appreciate your support in this matter. Itīs of most important to me

I know in Outlook Express you can attach soundfiles (WAV, MIDIs, etc) and jpeg / gifs (animated or not) to make your own stationery. Don't think you can do the same thing in Hotmail (it's pretty basic).

Is this what you mean?

i think he asks, if GIF be included audio as well.
something like a short video clip then...
while the frames in the GIF runs, i think he needs appropriated audio to be included when those frames run...

@IB if you mean embed a sound file or a link to a sound file on a server, I haven't seen it done in HotMail as annyjay said.
In OE - the script would be something like this:
