Hello,
I often set my FlashFXP to download, and then leave my PC unattended. When somehow the connection brakes down, FlashFXP want to resume but want user-input for it.
Maybe I'm overseeing a setting, but does anyone know how to let the program resume automaticly? Thanks.

Ok,
if you go to option-preferences-transfer
Ok
Be shure to check these cases:
1-close unused FTP connections during transfer
2-Stop and resume if no data received for 5 minutes
3-restore broken transfers and retry broken FTP transfers 3 times
That's all
I'm on 56k modem and I let him download all the night ! When I'm disconnect, flashfxp reconnect himself and resume the tranfer

I don't get it, For the "smaller" box I put AUTO RESUME but in the "same" and "larger" boxes It hasn't got it????
Also what does it mean "DESTINATION" and there are Smaller, Same, Larger?

Basicly if what you already have is the same or larger , you cannot resume , so must either overwrite or skip.
Select "AUTO SKIP" for these two boxes. OK
Also what does it mean "DESTINATION" and there are Smaller, Same, Larger?
Desitnation is the flie or part file that you have on YOUR hard Drive.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the response. But:
Bad1: All the items you specified were checked but it still doesn't resume automaticly.
Pittbull: I don't have these options. I'm running 1.3.761. Could it be U run a new version that does resume better?
Thanks sofar guys, and cheers,
Cactus

Hi Le Cactus,
To be shure, I have a trick for you !
Download a small file to make a test.
Cut the line before the download is finish, reconnect and redownload this same file.
FlashFXP will ask you to resume or redownload.
Click resume and always do this and your problem is gone.
Let me know

Hi Cactus , I also use this version and the options are there. so not sure where you looked .
Are you on dial up ? , I found that I had to reconfigure my modem to also auto redial if my connection got broken, It appears that the ftp prog didnt focce it to reconnect by itself.
good luck , its a great program.
