A man and his wife was on the road one night and decided to try out a new Motel on their destination route. When they woke up the next morning a staggering bill of $1500 awaited them. The man then, highly upset by this, decided to take the matter further and called the manager of the Motel.
The manager went on to explain that $1500 was quite the normal rate. He explained that the Motel had a swimming pool and sauna that could be used free of charged to all guests. They also have comedy and cabaret shows at the bar every night where only the best comedians and actors perform. Also that is free to all guests. "But we did not use any of these facilities", the man said. The manager then replied by saying that it doesn't matter. The facilities was there, you could have used it if you wanted to".
After a long argument the man finally decided to pay the bill, wrote out a cheque and gave it to the manager. "But sir you made a mistake. This cheque is for only $500", the manager said. "That right", the man replied "I am deducting $1000 because you slept with my wife."
"What, I never slept with your wife". "Well", the man said "she was here and you could have if you wanted to".
