Gigabyte is not bad. If you want something a bit better, have a look at the ASUS MOBO's. Their stuff is quite good Quality wise.

I have to agree with Crowdirt...

Gigabyte is a really good board (I belive better for the AMD processors though).

I have always trusted my ASUS boards though - never had a problem with them.

You know an awsome board to talk about this kind of stuff - overclocking, mobo's, and memory is madonion.com. There is a lot of hardware freaks there that have some really good answers

Asus motherboards, no doubt about it... I have two of them, working without any problem. Top quality and performance, rugged full featured products.

If you want something cheaper, try Abit and MSI. Gigabyte mobos are usually good quality but featureless...

Check tomshardware.com and anandtech.com for reviews.

MSI mobo has some really good features like the live bios update and fuzzy design 3 that let you overclock your fsb right away. But i dont think they make any mobo for P3 or P4.
otherwise, Gigabyte is good.

I was told Asus TUVX is bad for overclocking. How about CUVX if you can find one? Some may disgree becuase the via chipset, but I never have any problem with. I have a P3V4X with a 1G @1.05G as my production machine, a CUV4X for my Win2K AD server.
