omg,

is this mentfor the hardware section dont know BUT its driving me CRAZY!!!

i have cable
i have laptop (dell inspiron)
i have netowork cable (not usb)

there is a clip STOPPING me from putting my network cable in and runninthe net..

i tried the modem part and its too small and i tried pushing the clip but there is no way i can access the port to put the cable in!!

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME

Lol, maybe with a screwdriver, or some dynamite.

Hold your horses. Do you believe the outlet is mounted by your ISP in a way tht forces every homeuser to open it? Hardly. Stay calm and do some reading about what type of cable and connectors you are supposed to use.

Call your ISP and talk to the support. Then check the Manual you got together with the Dell. Are you really using the correct cable and the correct connector at the laptop? Does your cable work at your neighbours place?

You get it - I'm sure there is another and better way to fix this. If your wall jack has to be opened let your ISP do it.
