Since the deaths of Napster&Audio Galaxy...

I already use Kazaa lite&Blubster......it has a lot, but I still can't find every song I need. And I've tried winMX.......in a word: it SUX. So....what other recommendations does anyone have? I don't like the way Direct connect, Hotline Connect, or Edonkey is set up.....and its not so "user friendly" either. And i've tried them before anyways........never was able to get a whole lot from those folks.

So what else is there?

I use 'BearShare' and it has been quite good in the past.
However nothing seems as good as Napster was a few years ago.

Just tried bearshare 4.0.5 And Imesh 3.1 and I found nothing I was looking for....not 1 song. . Anyone else?

I've been using Kazaa Lite with good success. The read out says almost 3 million on line. It's pretty good for other files and programs also.

i use winmx (the newest version). the older versions i had trouble with, but for the past couple of ones they work pretty good.

Someone told me that a program called Direct Connect was good although I have never got round to trying it and just use Kazaa

I use kazaalite myself..........seem to find almost all mp3s i like. getting it to download at a respectable rate is another matter...........though it does get very good at times........edonkey and winmx just dont match up to kazaalites interface and ease of use.

A new one that uses te gnutella network called Shareaza

Well I'm staying with Kazza Lite Advanced Version 2.0 myself.

It's sweet. Finds every single song I'm after. Not sure about movie and the such though.
