i felt the question was so short and not clear.
what i understood was, u really no need to play with divx inf files, if you downloaded the divx5.02 codec from divx.com which will enable you to view divx moviez or encode to divx. that's all u really wanna do with divx, according to knowledge. perhaps u r playing a more advanced role with divx, i dunno
