Thanks for the info!
I do have to say that sometimes I am a bit confused as to what is permitted and what isn't on BetaONE. In my way of thinking, resets are a way of manipulating your copy of XP to avoid having to activate in the normal time allowed. I don't know if you'd call it a crack, work-around, tweak, whatever. You are modifying your OS, probably illegally.
Would someone explain why we have a rule (#2) that seems to me not to permit this type of post, but why a reset is considered ok to discuss? I certainly don't think Microsoft would consider resets "legal".
I am only concerned about the long-term interests and survival of the board in general. If I did need a reset, which I don't, I could easily find it. But I am just not sure this is the proper place to discuss it. You must know this and many other boards are monitored. Why put BetaONE at risk?
"BetaONE does not support illegal content of any forum. This includes warez, application cracks, and key generators. "
Please clarify...What does "not support" really mean? Is it that we can discuss it, but just not post links. Is that it?

MNKid
** Edit: Thanks for the edit orig. I think that made it very clear to everyone reading it where BetaOne stands.
