Mass Production for the OLPC Begins

It's been a long, long road, but mass production of the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Foundation's XO-1 laptop has finally begun. In a press release emailed I received, the OLPC Foundation stated that early Tuesday (local time), Taiwan's Quanta Computer started producing the XO-1 in its new Changshu manufacturing center, two hours northwest of Shanghai.
