Within its recent response to the United States Department of Justice that stated it would modify Windows Vista (http://www.betanews.com/article/Micr...rch/1182350094) to enable end users and OEMs to change the default desktop search it uses, Microsoft for the first time discussed Service Pack 1 for the OS, saying a beta will come this year.
