James, I've never got over my dad dying. I know what you are looking at. Dad died 25 years ago and was 6 years younger than I am now. This is a piece I found some years ago that is what I imagined my dad said to me in the moments before he left us.
And if I go while you're still here,
know that I keep on vibrating to a different measure
behind a veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar again
--both aware of each other.
Until then live your life to the fullest
and when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart
