BOOK FIRM Amazon has dumped Google from it search page and replaced it with a Microsoft offering.
The firm has a page called A9
here, on which it has a search engine. Previously, you might have as well gone
here. Now you might as well go
here.
The firm will also use the Microsoft search technology on its bookish site.
Reuters says A9 Chief Executive David Tennenhouse told it that Windows Live presented a "very interesting, powerful Web search option". He didn't say whether he'd been paid to say it, why Google had been dumped or anything much else.
