MIT & Nokia to collaborate on technology advancement
On Friday MIT announced that their Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and the Nokia Research Center have combined their intellectual and research capabilities in a project that aims to further the state of the art in mobile computing and communications technologies.

Together, CSAIL and Nokia will establish a new research facility to be named "the Nokia Research Center - Cambridge" near the MIT campus. This new facility will enable researchers from both organizations to work closely together, focusing their research on the advancement of mobile computing technologies and their use in the future. From mobile phones and other handheld devices to power consumption management and software architectures, their goal is to look at the way our various technologies work today and how they could be improved and incorporated in to the future.
