ATI X1800, X1600, X1300 (R5XX) Pricing Revelation
R520 lands next week, but how much will it set you back if you want one at launch? HEXUS.net have got details on the pricing of R520 and its brethren across the X1xx range.

The top dog X1800 XT with 512MB of memory will be priced at $549, with a 256MB variant weighing in at $499, while the X1800 XL 256MB will cost $449. A quick check of a popular US online retailer showed NVIDIA's GeForce 7800 GTX selling around the $460 mark, with the 7800 GT costing ~$360.

Moving down into the X1600 range, the 256MiB XT will launch at $249, with a 128MB version of the XT setting you back $199; the same price as a 256MB X1600 Pro.

Of the X1300s, the most expensive X1300 Pro 256MB will cost $149, while the cheapest X1300 Hypermemory 128MB will weigh in at $79.

Add-in board partners will, of course, influence pricing depending on the bundles they decide to package with their products. However, its expected X1xx pricing will fairly rapidly adjust, squaring up to or sandwiching between NVIDIA's products.
