Xbox 360 games are cunning hard drive money spinners
Extra features to those with hard drives

THE DEVELOPERS behind Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Bethesda, have given some interesting insights into how we might see Xbox 360 games working around the fact that not all of the consoles will contain a hard drive.

The company have said that they have known that they would not always have a hard drive to play with, and so they have designed the game with users who do not have a hard drive in mind. However they will still utilize hard drives on machines which have it.

In other words this means Microsoft will make a fair amount off of people buying hard drives or Xbox 360s in order to get the most out of games such as Oblivion.
