TOPEKA - State Rep. John Edmonds of Great Bend, no stranger to hot-button issues, is seeking to put Kansas on the leading edge of efforts to eliminate secondhand smoke.
His proposal, now pending before the House committee he chairs, would ban smoking virtually every place people gather, including workplaces, restaurants, bars and outdoor sporting events.
Personally.. I'm totally for it!!
I heard this morning on 95.3FM Vancouver that second hand smoke gives a 90% more risk to breast cancer...

Though I know that smoking outside will not be effected here too much.. too much of a threat on "civil liberaties".. bahhh...
in Political forum cause its regarding smoking and I understand that some people might feel a need to defend their kruch...
