I didnt like the acoustic research speakers much - they sounded flat to me...
The best thing to do is go into a store, find an amp similar to yours, and then try all different speakers until you find a sound YOU like
I still think JBL are absolutely the best for the minimal amount of money you would have to pay.
congrats on the Pioneer Amp - thats a pretty decent model
