Still use 98SE on some systems (I.E has been removed using "IEradicator" in all cases, which makes 98SE just about as stable as XP!!).

Some games will not work under XP, even using the "compatibility mode" but work great on SE.

Also, I have mucho software for burning CD's and don't want to switch over to XP because of the lack of system level drivers I need.

And, have tons of development "play toys" that I've used forever under the 9X versions and am to lazy to switch all that over to XP.

So- what do I use the XP systems for? Mostly to play DVD's and view home and commercial movies (that I've produced using 98SE). Can't really see much of a reason to get excited about XP yet.

I suppose if I was a typical M$ "junkie" that used I.E., Outlook Express and all the other bug ridden M$ software I'd have a different point of view. But - I've been developing software at the system level (machine language mainly) since 1973 - with the original Intel 8008, no less - and have a respect for good software.

Not that I'd catagorize 98SE as "good" software - it's just handy and convenient at times.
