Hey, this problem?s been bugging me for so many years since the introduction of Win2K.
You see, every time I install and start using either Windows 2000 or XP, they get stuck at boot up !!. This happens usually after several days from the installation, but sometimes it happens just as soon as I finish the setup L The progress indicator goes halfway and stops dead. No matter how long I wait, or how many times I restart the machine, it stubbornly refuses to go beyond that point. So I just switch off the computer in frustration and switch it on the next day. If I am lucky, it might start working again for a several days more and then go kaput again.
The problem is that I can?t even restart the computer, if I have been using it for about 2 hours. L It gets stuck at boot up !!
As this happens every time I install Win2k or XP, (Even if I use different CD?s) I suppose that this might be a problem that?s common to some others too. So plz try to find out more about this thing from your online community willya ?
