1. I changed the power supply that came with my mid-size tower (SOYO Dragon+ MB, Athlon 1800XP CPU, 512 RAM, 80GB HD, CD-RW, DVD-R, Floppy, NVIDIA GeForce 4 video card), from a 300W to a 350W. After doing so, I got some very strange errors - cpu fan below threshhold, video card errors, boot and shut down, etc. Took out new Power supply and reinstalled 300W and all was well. Put the 350W in another computer (ASUS MB, P4 2.2ghz, similar equipment) and everything ran perfectly, so I know that the power supply is OK.

2. Connected new USB 2.0 hub to P4 computer, and got some very strange errors - cpu fan below threshhold, video card errors, boot and shut down. Disconnected it, everything runs fine. Connected hub to SOYO Dragon+ MB, Athlon 1800XP CPU, 512 RAM, 80GB HD, CD-RW, DVD-R, Floppy, NVIDIA GeForce 4 video card, and it works fine.

Does anyone have an explanation as to why these "electrical happenings" might have happened? I thought that it was strange!
