How Low Will Windows Vista Prices Go?
Microsoft announced (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...-hopes-of.html) it was lowering Windows Vista prices last Thursday. While the price cuts aren't scheduled to go into effect until the release of Service Pack 1 (SP1), Microsoft had said that many retailers would be offering promotions that would drop Vista to its new lower prices.

As of this writing Amazon.com has Windows Vista Home Premium (Upgrade) on its site, either a pre-order for SP1, or the current retail version, for $94.99 (above, click to enlarge). Also, OfficeMax, in both its Sunday print ads and online, is advertising Windows Vista Home Premium (Upgrade) for $99.99.
