LUDDITES who do not fancy the look and feel of Vole's Office 2007 are splashing out on a program which turns the interface back a few years.
Addintools is flogging software which takes Office 2007 and changes the GUI back to what it was under Office 2003.
It seems that there are people who really do not like the new interface and find it more limiting that what Vole was turning out four years ago.
The software is not cheap. It costs $30 to change the menus for Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. If you only use Vole Word you can pick up the add-on for $16.
Still it is worth it if you want to write a long diatribe to the
Daily Telegraph about the perils of the Spinning Jenny.
