Introducing AOL Call Alert
AOL Call Alert is an exclusive AOL service, which will be available with the release of AOL version 8.0. It allows you to manage your incoming calls while you're online.
How does AOL Call Alert Work?
When you're online and someone calls, you'll receive an alert that let's you know who is calling, just like caller ID. You can then choose how you want to handle the call. You can:
- Take a message and listen to it while you're still online. A message will appear in your AOL inbox as an e-mail with an attached audio file.
- Ignore the call and it will ring unanswered so you can relax and enjoy your AOL session.
- Send the caller a pre-recorded response (Call me back later, I'll call you back, or Try my cell.)
