Only $800
A FRIEND forwarded a nice link that contains one of the first G80-based Geforce 8800 GTX listed for sale. The card from BFG will be known as BFG Geforce 8800GTX 768MB PCI-E 2DVI HDTV TV-Out (BFGR88768GTXE) and it should sell for a super-expensive $799.95 price.
But BFG is somehow cheap, as PNY sells its PNY Geforce 8800GTX 768MB PIC-E DDR3 2DVI HDTV S-Video (VCG8800XXP
card for $809.00.
As we are sure Nvidia will force these chaps to take the link down, we took a screenshot for your pleasure. We certainly hope that Nvidia will force its partners to drop the price, as $800 for a single card is ridiculous. Still, we know there are some crazy guys out there that will spend even that much. We suppose nvidia reckons so too.
