AMD Socket F waits for Woodcrest
Spinners tap their pens impatiently

RELIABLE SOURCES said that AMD is likely to introduce its Socket F servers into the third quarter.

That's not because there's problems with capacity, samples, and infrastructure, nor is it because feverish AMD spinners need time to craft their press releases. No. AMD wants to see the cut of Intel's Woodcrest jib, it appears. Strange how Chipzilla and Chimpzilla perform this gavotte when close to launch. But traditional, me hearties!
