I've been using acqURL for years and like it very much. Curious to know if anyone has discovered anything new and "exciting".

Same here.
The standard Windows Favourites is enough for me (I think).
I backup Favourtes before a format and restore then after the format. Simple enough.
However, I will try acqURL to see what extra options we can have
Cheers,

Being that we are on the topic of bookmarks - Is there any bookmarking program that can cycle through the entire list of bookmarks in a users favorites list and tell you which ones are no longer working? I have become quite lazy with organizing my bookmarks and the list now goes on and on and on, etc...
What would help me would be to have the ability to run through all of the bookmarks, and find out which ones are dead... This way, at least, I can get rid of the non-working bookmarks, and perhaps shrink the mess I've created... :lol1:
Thanks,

acqURL has a very nice link checker. And it works easily and intuitively. Some links are difficult to check automatically and there is a feature to move the bad links automatically to a new page for future reference if you suspect you want to check them again in the future.
The beauty of acqURL is you get a full screen of links classed by pages which you construct. When you check the links you can choose the pages you want to check.
To date this is the only book mark program I've found that I like after trying many of the ones out there, which to me are not better than Favorites in IE.
