You noticed how I say, "Manufacturing Problems?" Well this isn't like it's the first time nVidia has had the rolling line issues. Some were reported back in the day with one of their other chipsets. Can we label it as manufacturing problems? I would say so. This isn't a fluke. A fluke is if maybe a couple of people have fell victim too it. But this has happened to many people. So you be the judge. It seems they needed an individual to bring in their system to their headquarters to say, "See! There is a problem Foo..." What will be their next steps?
We had one person in the Bay area confirmed with these symptoms. He was kind enough to agree to visit us. We had him come in to the NVIDIA offices today. We were able to see the ?flicker issue? and try some things to fix it. We have some good theories about the cause. Next step is to reconstruct his system, prove our theories, and then find a solution. We will let you know when we have some definite conclusions.
