250MB per second... One could transfer an entire DVD (vobs and everything) in at most of 30 minutes, mabye less.

I can't wait till I get back to school to try this out. Unfortunately, I don't have a gig switch, and their are VERY expensive.. I think???

Can disk drives react that quickly to information?
