I d/l it (0.9 beta preview), and burned it on a CD, but could never make it to work.

It seems started to install, but that's about it. Never went to the netx step.

I can boot directly from the CD, and after a few seconds, it asks to "press anykey to reboot", but nothing happend, my hard disk still boot from the win2000. I did see a directory has been created by the Lindows Installation, but no excutables or something I can manually run.

Anybody has any experience with Lindows?

Thanks.

It could be a corrupt image. Did you check the md5sum for it?

The md5sum is usually posted in a README file along with the image on the server. If you would like the checker I will email it to you.

lindows is for the most part a customized version of the linux kernel running kde and wine, easy to achieve with any current linux distro

I downloaded The same ISO of Lindows. It boots off the CD then tells you to take the cd out and reboot, but nothing happens?

Must be a dodgy rip i think.
