I"ve been running it when I have my server up, or using p2p. Seems like a good thing, but the key is knowing the urls to block. Since this is beta and for now free, I can't believe that it is necessarily up to date. When it is a fee service, then I'd have more confidence. In the meantime it relies on users to input new addresses to block.
In my case it is blocking nothing. I'm behind a router, but typically forward all the ports (DMZ). My software firewall then catches scans. I get maybe 3 in 24 hours and they are from all over the world. I do in IP trace on each one. Most seem beneign so far.
