Dell inspiron all the way!!! www.dell.co.uk in your case. if you're willing to wait a bit the GeForce4 Go is gonna come out for notebooks -- your gaming experience will be unparalleled on a laptop!!

A friend of mine works for a company that just bought him a Compaq laptop. Now that is a sharp looking laptop.

Chrome buttons and the outside looks like stainless steel, and it's fast.

I like Dell's Inspiron too. Intel is going to release Mobile Pentium4 soon. I'm waiting for that as well as for GeForce4Go, faster memory, new motherboard. All that should be available by April.

High price, but available with Radeon 8500 up to 64MB right now and probably G-force and PentiumIV by mid year.

But that would be around 3500-4500US

pcservicetech,

Why do you think the new Dell series will be that expensive? I guessed it would be something around $2500-3000.

Do the build your own option, and see for sure, I was checking it out a few months ago and my price quote was only a guess. One thing for sure is the price will go way up when they implement Pentium 4 and thats what I was guess-timating for.

pcservicetech,

I guess my price estimate reflects what I'm hoping for the price will be

I'm looking forward to having a 16x cd burner though.
