Hi

I just got a new ITX mobo and i built a lego case for it. I ended up in a situation where the ide cable is connected like this: [ITX mobo ide connector 1]----------[Harddrive]-----[Cd-burner].

What kind of jumper settings shall i use? hav managed to make the cd-burner work, but not the hd..

the hdd is in the middle of the cable? if so, hdd jumpered as slave, burner jumpered as master, though you really should have them the other way around if possible

When it's a 80 UDMA cable like Blue-black-grey you can set to Cable select
blue on MB black slave(cd) grey master (hd)
Better to use 2 cables and connect to the grey, both master
