Hi,

Just wondering How many ppl are using broadband and how many ppl are using Dialup

Well I am using Dialup 56k (but 7K in real words ) and willing ot move broadband in the future....some day

Damn I hate 56k , at least it has unlimited hrs and downloads. I would probably burn up the crappy bandwidth limits in a day if I had one of the current broadband connections.

I can't tell you how many times I have tried to get fatter pipes, all to no avail....

I suppose "direct pc" satellite would work, but 99.00/month for the first year is a little out of my budget...

Over here in Japan things are moving ...

I got myself a 30M/10M cable

not bad but they should at least offer something closer to
what they promote for...

actually I get an average of 4~6M

400k down/ 128k up cable. cableone. would like to get the wireless dsl which is around 1.5M/1.5M, but the $300 setup is fee is a little too much right now.
