I was given a router from my work for VPN. After connecting/setting up everything (router settings, personal computer, and laptop), their instructions said to leave the admin password alone.

My question, can they remotely connect to my router to "check" on things, like on my personal computer?

thanks

They should only be able to remotely check on the router if you have the remote access box check under advance features. Other then that there shouldn't be a problem. I read somewhere that the 4 port befrs411 router with firmware before 1.42.7 that had the remote access bottun marked can be DoS'd. SO make sure you have the latest firmware or at least version 1.42.7. Hope this helps.
